When it’s finally time to mix and master after spending months or years writing and recording an album, Bernie Becker is that near mythical unicorn everyone should be lucky enough to find. Bernie works as the ideal collaborator - who also happens to have the best ears in the business, supernatural sensitivity, the patience of a saint and exquisite attention to detail. He has the rare ability to sculpt and polish and find facets in the music that were there, but just needed to be brought to the surface. Did I mention he’s also a really nice guy?  There is no one else on earth I would trust to mix and master one of my albums.

I’ve known Bernie since 1986. I worked closely with him touring with the Neil Diamond band and in the studio recording, mixing and mastering. I’ve never met another engineer with better ears and understanding of the music and musicians he was working with. I’ve watched him work under enormous pressure and with less than adequate equipment. His patience and focus never wavers from the task he is given. I could give many examples of his abilities as an Audio Engineer, Let me just say I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to work with him in the future.
